Hello! My name is Desire. When I started Give me Moss, my vision was to create a sanctuary where people could find peace and healing, and then bring that essence into their own homes. I firmly believe that the environment we surround ourselves with significantly impacts our well-being. Each design I create is meticulously crafted to infuse your living space with a sense of calmness and tranquility.
In 2018, I poured all my heart and soul into what truly makes me happy: nature, art, and design. My goal is to create a magical and enriching experience for everyone who visits my space. Give me Moss was a true labor of love. I hope you feel at home and a part of something truly special in my life.
My Greatest Inspiration
My greatest inspiration came from my grandmother. Watching her diligently tend to her garden, nurturing each plant with care, was a sight to behold. She was a talented designer from a young age, meticulously creating matching outfits for her daughters with every intricate detail, ensuring their impeccable style. Her daughters’ outfits were a telltale sign of their identity, and everyone in town knew who Romana’s daughters were.
Born in a small town in Durango Mexico called Carreras, she often told me stories of her childhood adventures, playing outside and crafting intricate crafts from the natural clay found by the river. She possessed an extraordinary ability to find beauty in everything. Watching her sew and crochet brought me immense peace and tranquility. Every aspect of her life was a source of inspiration, and for that very reason,
I dedicate “Give me Moss” to her memory.
